Our Love Story began 20+ years ago when we met at the Auto parts store where Derek was working. Derek, of course, flirted with me and I flirted back. We exchanged phone numbers, but we quickly "friend-zoned" each other and went on with our lives.
Over the years Derek would occassionally inbox me asking me how i was doing and he would invite me out. I always kept my responses short and would decline his offers.
Fast forward to the summer of 2021, Derek sent another invitation to take me out and I thought, "What the heck, I'm not doing anything else"..... We went out to dinner, spend hours talking and laughing and WE HAVE BEEN INSEPARABLE EVER SINCE!
Our relationship bloomed and on December 31, 2021, Derek proposed and I accepted!
We will solidify our love on Sunday, June 18, 2023 in Montego Bay, Jamaica and would love for our supportive friends and family to join us. For those unable to attend, please send your prayers and positive energy our way as we celebrate our love and become one.
