Tangela and Marlo met the modern way:  by swiping right on Plenty of Fish (swoon!) in 2018. Their first date at Pappasito’s was a hit from the start—it lasted well over into the night. After enjoying dinner, Marlo was not ready to let Tangela go so he suggested a game of pool at Slick Willies. That was somewhat of a disaster, as the smoke met them at the door!  However, their second date went much better and they've been together ever since. 

A few of Tangela and Marlo’s favorite memories from their time together: Catching many flights together, enjoying many Mexican restaurants (both their favorite food) and margaritas, and lots of trips to the beach on every trip. 

Tangela and Marlo’s proposal was a bit unique, and bittersweet. Marlo spontaneously planned to propose to Tangela during her father’s afterparty to celebrate his home-going. During an emotional time for Tangela-------Marlo got down on one knee and promised to protect and take care of her for a lifetime in the absence of her father! A beautiful ring was presented, hugs and kisses were shared, and it was an amazing memorable experience.
