What are the wedding details?

Day: Wednesday, April 22, 2026
Time: 3pm (ceremony), followed by a cocktail hour and 3 hour reception

How do I get there?

Many major airlines fly to Saint Lucia including American Airlines, Delta Airlines, JetBlue, United Airlines, Air Canada, and British Airways. When the wedding gets closer, our agent Eva can help arrange flights for your convenience. When booking your flight please keep in mind you will be flying into Hewanorra International Airport at Vieux Fort (UVF). Also, if you are staying at Sandals, you must stay for a minimum of 3 nights and there will be an airport transfer included to take you to the resort. It is a 1-1.5 hour car ride from the airport (South side) to Sandals Grande St. Lucian (North side) 

Do I need a passport to enter St. Lucia?

Yes. U.S. citizens are required to present a valid U.S. passport when visiting Saint Lucia, as well as proof of anticipated departure and accommodation. At the minimum, your passport needs to be valid for another 6 months. U.S. citizens generally do not need a visa for tourist travel up to 6 weeks.

Where should I stay?

We recommend staying at the wedding venue: Sandals Grande St. Lucian, a world class 5-star all inclusive resort. We have reserved a group of rooms for your convenience. Please call our agent, Eva, directly to book the room that most accommodates your needs. Please book early as space is limited. There is a required minimum stay of 3 nights for all guests but please feel free to stay as long as you wish, it’s your vacation too! Other Sandals resorts include Sandals Halcyon Beach and Sandals Regency La Toc. Please note: rooms have not been reserved at these locations but a free transfer to Grande would be included for wedding events.

Are children allowed?

All Sandals resorts are ADULTS ONLY. Therefore, we regret to announce that children will NOT be allowed at the wedding/ reception or on the resort premises. 

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Cocktail attire. Sun dresses or pants with blouses for women. Long pants and button down shirts (long or short sleeved) for men. NO shorts, NO T-shirts, and NO Hawaiian/tropical shirts. Please wear shoes, sandals accepted. 

Any other special attire we should know?

It will be very hot during the ceremony (3pm). Don't forget to wear sunscreen. Temperatures might dip a bit at night with the seabreeze, so women might want to bring a light sweater or wrap.

How do I book excursions? What other activities are there?

Our agent, Eva, would be happy to help you book excursions ahead of time that occur on or off the resort. Off resort excursions include: Waterfall hiking, horseback riding, catamaran trips, etc. Some fun things to do at the resort that are included in your stay: Scuba diving, Kayaking, Wakeboarding, Windsurfing, Snorkeling, Sailboats, Paddle Boarding, Kneeboarding, Waterskiing, Beach Volleyball, Golf, Table Tennis, etc

What are some Points of Interest St. Lucia has to offer?

Pitons, Tet Paul Nature Trail, Pigeon Island National Landmark, Anse Mamin Beach, Millet Bird Sanctuary and Nature Trail, Verdant Forest, Jalousie Beach, Marigot Bay, Anse Chastanet Beach and Reef, Mount Gimie, Anse Cochon, Souvriere Drive-In Volcano and Sulphur Springs, Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens, Reduit Beach, Cas en bas Beach for horseback riding. 

Can I visit the other Sandals resorts?

Yes! As long as you are staying at one of the resorts, you have access to all with the perks of a free shuttle transfer! They include Sandals Grande St. Lucian, Sandals Halcyon Beach, and Sandals Regency La Toc. 

If I’m staying at the All-inclusive resort, do I need cash? What is the currency in St. Lucia?

It’s always best to travel with some cash. If you are interested in tipping at the resort, they will accept USD. The official currency in St. Lucia is the East Caribbean Dollar (“EC” or “XCD”). The current exchange rate is $1USD = 2.7EC. If you pay for things outside of the resort with USD you will likely get EC change back. Most places will accept credit cards… Don’t forget to call your bank to put a travel alert on your cards!
