Mike and McKenzie met at Biolife, where McKenzie was currently working in 2010. Mike donated plasma there twice a week and would always find time to talk to McKenzie. One day, Mike invited McKenzie to go shooting at the shooting range some time. A few weeks later, they went shooting and had a lot of fun, just hanging out as friends. The summer continued this way, as they played lots of tennis and went hiking together. It wasn't until the next spring that the relationship progressed and they found deeper feelings for each other. In December of 2011, their relationship became official. Now, Mike and McKenzie are happily in their own home together (along with Jackson) awaiting the next step in their journey together!
