Bride

For months Brian had told me that were going to his best friend's anniversary party on Saturday, June 25, 2016. Since I thought I would be meeting some of his friends for the first time, I knew that I wanted to look nice for the occasion. He even suggested that I get my nails done which I do occasionally. Brian hates driving in DC, so I usually drive in DC.  However, on that day he drove us to THe Loft at 600 F. When we entered the building, the sign in the lobby said that there was an anniversary party on the 2nd floor. In that same lobby I also noticed that one of the cast members from Real Housewives of Potomac was there, so you can see why I was totally distracted. I even posed for a picture with her. Brian told me to hurry up. LOL! Then we took the elevator to the 2nd floor. When the doors opened I saw my family first. I thought "hmm, why are my parents here? How do they know Chris?" Then as I looked around the room I realized that our families and friends were present. Within 90 seconds of entering the room, Brian got down on one knee and proposed. Of course I said "yes!" I was totally shocked! It happened so fast that I didn't have time to cry. I was still in shock as I greeted everyone in the room.

That's an example of how loving Brian Malloy is. He reached out to our families and friends to make our engagement special, unique, and memorable. He wanted all of the remarkable people in our lives to experience that moment with us. He even hosted an after party that night, so we could celebrate with even more friends and family. I'm looking forward to sharing a lifetime of milestones with the love of my life, Brian Malloy.

Groom

Was I nervous? Of course I was. This was a moment that I had dreamed about since I was a young B fantasizing about if I would ever get married one day. Little did I know it would take 30+ years for God to place me in a work place where I literally sat across from my future wife two rows down. In life you pray for that ONE but my forever lady was staring me in my face and I really mean that because she would gaze over at me while we were at work at times lol j/k ;). As time progressed I knew in my heart that I did not want to spend the rest of my life with another lady. I put into motion making our engagement memorable so that she would truly know how special she is to me. If anyone knows me they know that once i make my mind up i make that scenario happen so in my mind I knew I wanted to marry Natasha Edelen. After researching different venues (Thanks Rashida Hart) and getting the right caterer it was just a matter of purchasing the ring. Luckily while shopping with Tash one day she was excited about one particular ring. Though my memory is the worst I was determined to remember that ring. After purchasing the ring it was just me being patient until the engagement day. With family and friends all gathered to witness my moment of truth I asked the love of my life to marry me. It was by far one of the best days of my life.
