Phil & Julie will be married at The First Baptist Church in Milton, Florida on September 13, 2014 at two in the afternoon. Reception will follow.

God had a hand in Phil & Julie's relationship even before they met. In 1991, Phil's dad met Julie's parents. Phil's dad was a missionary and visited the church in Ohio where Julie's dad was a pastor.

It wasn't until 22 years later that Phil & Julie met in June 2013 at Ponce de Leon Springs. Phil thought Julie was beautiful and she thought he was fun and outgoing.  Several months later, Julie messaged Phil and asked (if he still remembered her) if she could ride with him to a football game in Gainesville. She thought it may be awkward since they barely knew each other, but over the five hour ride they found that they had many commonalities in background and beliefs. 

About a month later, Julie took care of Phil's mom in the hospital in her last days. She was a comfort to him and he was an encouragement to her during that time. They started dating shortly after and enjoyed getting to know eachother. They fell fast in love and were engaged at Destin beach on April 19th. They can't wait to live happily ever after together!

Phil is my best friend and more than I could ever ask for. He is the most giving man i have ever met - of his time, attention, and affection. He is a strong leader and at the same time, caring and compassionate. I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for us. God has brought us through so much already and I can't wait to serve the Lord together. I am so in love and am looking forward to being Mrs. Julie Fischer! ~ Julie
