We have been through an epic journey together these last 3+ years. From when we met in January 2013 at BOLC (Basic Officer Leadership Course), through our VERY long-distance relationship, to a 6 month deployment in Afghanistan, and finally our engagement in early February 2015, we prevailed against all odds... although it took sacrifice, patience, planning and lots of effective communication.. surprisingly it felt effortless. With all of the hardships thrown at us, the love in our relationship proved to be the one aspect that would not falter and somehow always triumphed. For us, LOVE truly conquered ALL.
