Our Story
Albert and I met while attending Texas A&M University. Shortly after meeting, Albert graduated and moved back to San Antonio to pursue his career. We decided to remain friends and stayed in contact. We reconnected in 2007 when I moved to San Antonio to begin graduate school at OLLU. Since that moment we have been inseparable! We enjoy traveling, fishing, playing poker, watching the Spurs and Aggie football games and spending time with family and friends. Albert proposed on our 3 year anniversary, May 15, 2010. He proposed in our kitchen as we were exchanging gifts. His gift to me was a pair of Sperry boat shoes (I got him Shakira concert tickets, well for us both!). As I turned around to hug and thank him, he was on his knee and asked me to marry him! I said yes and then he took the shoe from my hand and I noticed he had tied the ring on the shoelace! He placed the ring on my finger and then put the shoe on me as well! What I love most about Albert is his kindness. He has the kindest heart of anyone I have met and continually inspires me to be a better person. What I love most about Lorena is her outgoing personality. She always shows me how much she loves me. We both feel very fortunate to be so in love and to have found our soul mate.
Our Wedding
Our wedding ceremony will be held March 26, 2011 at 2:00pm at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 4201 De Zavala Road, San Antonio, TX. Formal attire.
Our Reception
Our reception will take place at the Ye Kendall Inn, 128 W. Blanco Road, Boerne, TX. Cocktail hour begins at 4pm. Dinner will be served promptly at 5pm. Parking is located around the town square directly in front of the hotel; additional parking is located around the back of the hotel. We are happy that you can share in this special moment with us. We both feel very luck to have such great family and friends. Thank you for all of your continued support.
