Crazy Dream

If you would have told us when we were younger that after 27 years we would be back together I don't think anybody would believe you. Years ago 2 young people fell in love. We met at a party and the rest is history. When I met Dave he had just returned from basic training. Our long distance relationship lasted through his military years. He proposed and we started planning our wedding, however that is where the story changes. We broke up a few months before we were to be man and wife. We both moved on with our lives and stayed friends during this time. January 2022 David called me with devastating news. My heart broke for him. I came beside him to help him through the loss of his partner of many years. I never would have thought such a devastating event would have brought us back together but it did. We decided to try our relationship again and we are both glad we did. We never stopped loving each other through the years and the crazy part is this. I had a dream while I was in a prior relationship of an engagement ring that told a story. My engagement ring is that story. The 3 heart on top symbolized the two hearts coming together to make one heart. The infinity symbols with our initials are to represent our love lasting the test of time. I couldn't figure out who the initial was other than mine because I was already in a relationship. The initial D. How did I not think it wouldn't be my David. I told David this dream and he loved it. I showed him the design that was in my dream and with the help of a dear family friend my dream ring is a reality.
