We first met in college at Siena heights in 2016. We both played basketball. We were friends for a few months before Myles transferred schools. 6 years later Chelsea sent a text to Myles about a mutual colleague and this conversation progressed to meeting for lunch. We decided that we liked each other enough to set up an official date. We met up a couple more times before it was determined that we would become official. 1 year later we bought a house and moved in with each other.

On our trip to Bali Indonesia to attend a retreat, we had planned almost a year in advance, Myles had a great idea to put together a purposal a month before. Myles was able to find a ring Chelsea wore occasionally, slip it on his pinky finger to see how it felt and go to kohls to try on different ring sizes until he found the one that felt right. He ordered a ring himself hoping that it would be something Chelsea would like and it arrived 2 days before they left for their trip. With no trouble getting through TSA and customs the cover was not blown one time. Part of our trip was to hike to the top of a volcano during sunrise. Even better the group we were with had a professional photographer to take pictures for us. None of this was planned. Arriving at the top of the volcano Myles waited until the sun was just emerging. He got down on one knee and asked Chelsea to marry him. She said yes and they enjoyed the rest of their vacation as an engaged couple.
