Brad and Michelle met over 12 years ago, at Roscoes Famous Deli in Chino Hills where Brad was a manager. Michelle frequented the establishment with friends and soon became a regular. On December 30, 2012, Brad asked Michelle to fly home 2 days early from a weeklong snowboarding trip in Vail to spend New Year's Eve with him. Upon arrival at the Denver airport, she was met with a snowstorm, unsure if she would make it back to California in time for the New Year's countdown.
As fate would have it, Michelle's plane touched down in Ontario with just enough time to make it to Roscoes in Fullerton, where Brad was impatiently waiting. Just 4 days later, they made it "official" and less than a year after that, Michelle moved in with Brad on #FloraLane.
Ten years of love, adventure and hockey has kept the relationship strong. To celebrate their 10 year dating anniversary, Michelle and Brad visited New Orleans. It was here, while on a swampboat tour in the bayou that Michelle got the surprise of her life. While snapping pictures of an 11 foot alligator, she turned around to find Brad on one knee behind her.
The answer was easy, but the shock still hasn't worn off. The future Mr. and Mrs. Hayes are so excited for their special day and can’t wait to celebrate with family and friends.
