You can book to stay at Jamaica Royal Caribbean or Jamaica Montego Bay.

Can I bring a plus one?

Sandals is a couples only resort so a plus one is highly encouraged! The prices listed on the website for 2 people. See below at Accomodations if you're not planning on bringing a plus one.

When/where is the wedding?

Please plan to arrive June 7, 2023. The ceremony will start at 5:00PM EST on June 9th and will take place on the main beach at Jamaica Royal Caribbean on the beach. Please arrive 15 minutes or so beforehand to have time to be seated properly. There will be a cocktail hour from 5ish-6ishPM EST, after which we will have a reception 6ishPM-10PM (Dinner + Enternainment included). After party is TBD.

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

We are opting in for an unplugged ceremony so not really. We would prefer to be selfish with your undivided attention as video recording takes away from experiencing the moment as it is. We have an amazing photographer that is taking care of recording our special day.

Will there be an open bar at the reception?

Silly rabbit, of course there will be! ;) Please feel free to bring cash to tip your bartenders for the amazingly delicious drinks they will be serving us all night. Your rooms are also stocked with a variety of alcoholic beverages for anytime consumption that is all included.

What will the weather be like?

Definitely dress for warmer weather as Jamaica has a very tropical climate and the wedding and reception will be outside. For this reason, we opted to have the ceremony and reception the latest as possible to hopefully not fall victim to a blazing sun. Please make sure to pack sunscreen, bug spray, and sunglasses to ensure a more comfortable stay. The resort has a small gift shop where these items can be purchased should they be forgotten at home. :)

What is the dress code?

Beach Semi-formal or cocktail attire. Event will take place outside so please make sure it is appropiate for summer weather in Jamaica. The terrain will consist of sand and grass at times so don't feel pressured to wear heels, especially if they are pointy! Try to avoid wearing regular flip-flops, denim, cargo, swim shorts, and cotton t-shirts.
