The Story of Us

Once upon a time, two souls embarked on a profound journey that forever wove their destinies together – let us call them Jenn and Isaac.

The enchanting tale of Jenn and Isaac commenced in the most serendipitous of locations – the vibrant ambiance of Chilis Bar and Grill. It was within these walls that fate orchestrated their introduction, as the charming hostess found herself captivated by the presence of the dashing server. A subtle dance of flirtation ensued, and in the flow of this cosmic interplay, he extended his number to her, murmuring, "You should take me out someday." A smile graced Jenn's lips as she playfully responded, “No, I am the one who is taken out," not so gently placing his number in the waste bin. And so, a spark ignited in that very moment, fueled by the allure of challenge.

Jenn found herself immersed in the melodious strains of Isaac's band, while he, in turn, was drawn by an invisible thread to her presence at Chilis. Their tale of affection flourished as they savored shared platters of chicken crispers, fueled by their mutual passion for music, and enriched by the joy they discovered in each other’s presence. 

Then arrived a fateful night, as they strolled with their canine companion. In a sudden twist, Isaac knelt before Jenn, a glint of hope and vulnerability in his eyes, as he posed the question that would shape their future. "Will you accompany me through the next 40 or 50 years?" he implored. Naturally, the answer was a resounding YES! Yet, as life's river flowed on, time took its course, and the years slipped through their grasp.

Unswayed, Isaac was determined to etch his love story anew. In the whimsical ambiance of Diagon Alley within Universal Studios, he dropped to his knee once more. Jenn, her cheeks blushing with a mixture of affection and bashfulness, echoed her affirmation. A second YES! Still, life continued its ebb and flow, marked by a mortgage, the laughter of three exuberant and silly children, the companionship of their loyal dogs, and an array of exhilarating escapades across the globe.
