I met Jim on my birthday - July 3rd, 2018.  I was out to dinner with my friend, John.  After dinner, John invited me to Zen Bistro; a local neighborhood bar.  When I walked into Zen, Jim was sitting at the bar having a drink.  Jim and John knew each other!  We walked over and John introduced me to Jim; there was an immediate attraction!  I invited both John and Jim to join me and my friend, Lisa, on the National Mall for the Fourth of July Concert and Fireworks Celebration - Jimmy Buffet was performing!  Jim and I exchanged contact information, but it wasn't until three months later that Jim and I met again at Sinẻ Irish Pub in Pentagon City.  Jim was there with his family who were visiting from Philadelphia - they were going to a Virginia Tech football game the next day.  I was there with my friends - it was a Friday night.  Jim asked me to stop by and meet his family - I had him wait for about an hour (I had waited three months; no phone call or a text from him...)  Once I decided to join Jim and meet his family, the sparks that were ignited in July started to fly in October!  Jim finally came to his senses and asked me out.  One of our first dates was the 10K Across the Bay in Annapolis.  We've been together ever since and loving every minute of it!

Yep, that's about right re: how we met and began to date. I wasn’t in a great place when I moved to Pentagon City in the summer of 2018 (thus the three month delay pursuing her).  But, when we did get together that fall, it didn't take me long to realize I hit the jackpot with Tammy - my prayers for a loving companion were answered!  Not only is she fun, beautiful, and sexy; she’s also kind, thoughtful, smart, and independent.  More importantly, she’s my best friend, we share the same interests, we’re like-minded on most everything, and compatible in every way.  We’ve been in love and inseparable ever since that weekend in Annapolis, traveling, frolicking, and living our best life.  After more than six wonderful, loving years together, I have no doubt it is God’s plan for us to be together for eternity!
