Whew!!!  It is finally happening.  It has been 10 years since we met.  Life has most certainly lifed!!  We have decided that we will continue to ride this rollercoaster together, officially married.  This is the space to tell some snippets of our journey together.

We met in a space much like this; online, on a somewhat popular, at the time website, called Plenty of Fish.  My, (Amanda), friend thought it would be a good idea to join the site and go on dates and tell each other about said dates to make the experience more enjoyable.  Well, on 04/20/14, Easter Sunday, Kelly said hello in the messages section and I, on my last day on the site, decided to reply to just ONE more person, and that person was Kelly.  We chatted for a while via text and decided to exchange phone numbers to further the conversation.  I gave him my phone number because I was serious about deleting the app that day.  I had met too many weirdos at that point.  After speaking with Kelly, we agreed to meet the next day at Rush Street, a restaurant in Culver City, CA.

The next morning I called my friend and told him about the meeting and said I was going to marry him because he was, "talking right."  He seemed very down to earth, and normal, i.e. not a weirdo.  I went to work that Monday, and later that evening met Kelly at Rush Street.  When you know you just know.  As he came up the stairs, I knew he'd be in my life for a time, although I was not sure of the length of time that would be.  He inhaled all the food because, as I have learned over the years, he will go all day without eating.  He walked me to my car and I stupidly forgot to ask if he wanted a ride to his.  He forgave me and we've been together ever since. 

We went to the movies together, out to dinner, to batting cages, his hometown, St. Louis, MO., Jamaica, twice, baseball games, the theater, and we continue to choose life together.  We've added to our family in 2021 with the birth of our daughter, Noah Kaya Henton, and we've lost loves ones, Rambo, my mom and his mom recently.  We still choose one another.  We annoy each other, console one another, uplift and support one another and continue to choose each other over and over again.
