Swipe right...it's a Match! 

One had given up dating (M) and the other was just beginning (C). He had had enough of the first dates and put "max" effort into what he thought would be the last first date for a while. Little did he know that it would be his last first date forever.  They went to Red Robin for a no fuss "dipping her toes" into the dating pool with her friends on the line to make sure she made it home that night.  

First date reviews: (M) Rebounds are dangerous, (C) He'll never call back but he did call and they went on another date at a little more upscale restaurant (IHOP) before she drove her daughter off to her first year of college. 

Fast forward a few weeks of phone calls, movie date night (Bohemian Rhapsody of course) and even a trip to California for his work conference (because why not? even though her mom warned her that he could be a murderer).

Now time to meet each other's children. The final test to see if things would move forward. A dinner at her kid's favorite - Texas Roadhouse with very minimal conversation while they sized up mom's new beau. They approved.  Next were his kids - daughter - "Hi, I like you!" but not so much for the boy.  He would stare through her soul making her believe this would not work. With a little more time, he finally broke and now she has a singing partner in the car.  By the way, Meow Meow (the cat) was much easier to win over.

A couple years later and an eleborate plan to get her daughter involved for a "school project" and he popped the question. 

Fast foward to last year when they took their first vacation to Jamaica and fell in love with the island.  This is where they will be married in 2024 at sunset in Negril.

Never thought they'd find a love like this later in life but they did and have already begun to make lots of memories together in this crazy thing we call life.
