Luke and Natalie have known each other since high school where they initially met. Natalie was going through her Facebook friends list inviting people to her Girl Scout Gold Award book sale fundraiser, and Luke took the invite as an opportunity to get to know her better. Stephanie, Natalie's mom, talked her into accepting a date of bowling, dinner at Chili's (where Natalie ate a chocolate molten lava cake as her meal), and dancing at a local dance barn (where Luke's mother happened to show up)!

7.5 years, two dog adoptions, many moves, and a house purchase later, Luke bought the ring Natalie picked out and proposed that evening in their living room. He could not wait until their upcoming trip to Alaska to pop the question!
