FAQs

Is the resort really all inclusive?

Yes, it even includes free golf and scuba!

How do I extend my stay?

Please call Sandals (1-888-726-3257) and dail extension 3715 to connect with Danielle. She will be able to help extend your stay to come earlier or stay later. If you have any issues please reach out to Melonee or Jacob and they can help you.

How do I get to the resort?

In the coming weeks Jacob and Melonee will share with you your reservation number. A week before you leave you will need to log into the Sandals website and perform online checkin where you will enter your flight information.

Once you arrive in Jamaica, Sandals offers free shuttles from both Montego Bay and Kingston airports. Once you collect your bags make your way to the Sandals welcome lounge inside the airport to get checked-in and then wait for the next shuttle while enjoying beer or other beverage.

What room have you booked for us?

We have reserved Honeymoon Hideaway Luxury Club Level Garden Cottages for guests.

This room is a club level room.  Highlights include concierge service for making reservations (which I highly recommend you use), a free in room bar, and free room service.

I saw scuba diving was included, what should I know?

It's best to come to the resort certified or mostly certified (class work done). When you arrive at the resort, go to the dive center to checkin and show your certification information and sign up for the dive the next day. You can sign up for dives one day in advance. They provide all the gear and it is well maintained. You may want to bring your own mask for comfort. More specifics can be found at Sandals FAQs.

Do I need a visa?

Probably not. U.S. and Candian Citizens just need a valid passport and return ticket. This website is a good source of information.

Do I need to get a covid test?

COVID-19 tests are no longer required for travel to Jamaica.
See also the CDC page for Jamaica.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Jacob and Melonee are requesting guests wear beach/summer semi-formal.

For men, dress pants and dress shirt but jacket not required. Comfortable shoes.

For women, summer dress and comfortable shoes.

What's the weather like in July?

Sandals has a great page on weather in Jamaica here.
