It was late 2020 when Raina and Lucas met online. After messaging each other for a month or so they met up for dinner on their first date and then drove around the area for hours listening to music and talking. From that night, they knew there was something special between them.
Within a year Raina moved in with Lucas at the house he was renting and sharing with a roommate. In the spring of 2023 they bought the house they were renting and adopted their puppy Stella the week after. Since then, they've been working to make the house their own and hosting lots of parties and BBQs.
In early April of 2024 they planned a day trip to drive up to northern NH to see the solar eclipse and barely made it to their friend's cabin with 30 minutes to spare. When the eclipse reached totality Lucas got down on one knee with a ring in hand and Raina, of course, said YES!
A year and a half later, they’re ready to tie the knot! The future Fords are so excited for their special day and can’t wait to celebrate with family and friends.
