Our Story!

Once upon a time, in 2019, there was a girl who had almost given up on finding her forever person and there once was a boy who was in his "if it happens, it happens" mindset.  The girl decided to re-download the dating app Bumble after deleting it months prior. At the same time, the boy had just moved back to Illinois and decided to try that same dating app, Bumble. The girl's first match was with the boy named Aaron! His profile said all the "right" things. He loved to cook, workout, travel etc but what was most intriguing to the girl was a photo of him and his friends all wearing fake mustaches. She then knew he would have a great sense of humor! Ironically, what made Aaron swipe on Cara's profile was a picture of her with a random banana in her back pocket. He thought there has to be a story to that and wanted to know more. After a few days of talking,  they met for their first date- drinks at The Brick House. This date was memorable to say the least! The bartender told them they looked like Barbie and Ken and a stranger approached them asking them if they were on their first date. Little did they know, the table behind them was watching them and taking bets on if it was their first date or not. Cara must have been overtly flirting with hair flips and arm touching because after they confirmed this was their first date, half of the table exploded in the "I told you so" excitement.  But what was most memorable about the date, was the excitement that both Cara and Aaron felt after meeting each other. 

Since that day, Cara and Aaron continued to build a life together. They've enjoyed sharing their favorite hobbies such as traveling, working out (yes, doing Goat Yoga counts), golfing, hiking, meeting friends and family, and even completing a painstaking 500 piece puzzle (a challenging task that luckily only showcased how well they work together). But above all, they found way more than they ever thought they wanted in a partner and are excited to go through life hand in hand.
