It was a breezy fall day in October 2002 when we met in our hometown, East Harlem, NYC. We both found ourselves at a kickback with mutual friends. However, neither one of us knew that our casual introduction would plant the seed of a beautiful flower that would finally bloom just six years later. 

Separately, we both navigated the experience of being from an inner city, but we often crossed paths with each other right in our neighborhood. Each time we locked eyes, the gaze into each other's souls delved deeper and deeper, bit by bit. Our conversations grew from a casual hi and bye, to deep conversations about our lives.  We discussed everything over those six years! Our past, our current endeavors, and our future goals. 

Everything we envisioned for ourselves aligned perfectly for us as a unit, and that became the foundation of our unbreakable friendship. It was our ambitious go-getter mentalities that drew us closer and closer together. No one understood our world better then the way we did. And then, at Rhaheem's house in 2008, the magic happened. We Kissed! It was the first one of millions to come, but unforgettable nonetheless. 

On March 27th, 2012, our beautiful baby girl Honesty Rose Williamson was born and we knew that the opportunity to become parents together was a a testament to the enduring power of our love. 

As with any relationship our 16-year journey has been a series of peaks and valleys. Of course, the road got rocky at times and the universe put us through many tests of love and dedication to one another. No matter the challenges we face, the outcome remains crystal clear: Our hearts are ablaze with an unfaltering love and passion for each other, forming an unbreakable bond that nothing can sever.

So, here we are in 2024. Standing together on the precipice of forever. Our hearts overflowed with gratitude and joy as we get prepared to exchange vows and pledge our love for eternity amongst our family and friends. Here's to forever my love.
