Our journey of love is a testament to the providence, grace, and redemptive power of God. 

Both of us made a conscious decision to widen our search in order to find the person that God had intended for us. This led us to connect on a Christian dating app called Upward. Travis engaged Jasmine in lighthearted, purposeful, and sincere conversations, eventually expressing his desire to meet her in person. From exchanging messages, and FaceTime calls, our bond felt incredibly genuine. Travis then embarked on a 160-mile drive to take Jasmine out on their first date. It was evident that the date was carefully planned because Travis made sure to take her to places she had longed to visit. From playing an immersive virtual reality game at Sandbox to savoring ice cream at the Museum of Ice Cream, to even picking out a pink skirt at Zara, every moment of the date felt special. What was supposed to be a 3-hour outing turned into 10 hours of meaningful activities and heartfelt conversations, truly enriching our connection.

In this experience, we have wholeheartedly embraced our love for each other and prioritized keeping God at the center of our relationship. Our love blossomed due to the unwavering transparency we maintained.  Through counseling, our love has flourished even further, underlining the importance of keeping God at the forefront of our bond.

Travis realized that Jasmine was the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. On June 9th, 2024, he proposed to Jasmine during a surprise photoshoot at the beach in California, with the help of her two best friends. They created an aisle of 200 roses and candles, leading Jasmine to Travis, where a marquee sign lit up with the words "MARRY ME." She said yes, and it was a day they will both never forget.

We have vowed, with the guidance of godly counsel and our family/tribe, to continuously work on making our relationship a divorce proof marriage. 

Our love story may not resemble a Disney fairytale or a Lifetime movie, but it has clearly shown us that God is mindful of us, even when we may not feel deserving of it.

Our love story does not end here; we are confident that God has many more great things in store for our relationship and upcoming marriage.
