One swipe and the rest was well... history. 

Dan and Rachel met the safest way possible- online of course. Big thank you to Bumble on that one! Once Dan and Rachel started talking they chatted for about a week before they decided to meet for their first date. They both decided on meeting half way from Brookfield and Bristol which was Woodbury at Market Place. Even though it was a work night the date went way longer than anticipated and plans for a second date were right around the corner. 

Dates two, three, and four revolved around the babies, Trooper and Lucky. Dan and Rachel decided their second date was going to be in a drive in movie. Dan knew Rachel's baby was Lucky and he wanted to meet her and take her to the movie with them. Dan planned out the whole event with a blow up mattress in the bed of the trunk and dinner. When Lucky saw Dan she went into attack mode to try to protect her mom but was quickly won over by Dan when he showed up with a dragon toy for her. She knew she loved him from the start.

Dan and Rachel's fourth date was to introduce the puppies at Castle Craig. The way Dan and Rachel rememeber it, it was the busiest day that ever existed there. They ditched that plan quick before both dogs took out someone. Not all dates can go exactly as planned! They ended back at Dan's house where Tropper and Lucky had a great time together! 

Dan and Rachel both lead insanely busy lives before they even ended up together. Once they became a couple a google calendar was created to keep them on schedule. From comedy shows, trips to islands, different state adventures, weddings, family dinners, game nights but it doesn't matter if they are catching a broadway show or jet skiing they make the most out of every moment together. 

A year and a half into their relationship Dan asked Rachel's parents for their blessing. Dan proposed at their friends house with their niece/goddaughter, Brooklynn almost giving the ring to Auntie Rachel. Dan stepped in and dropped to one knee!
