Brandon and I met in  early 2020 by chance. I guess it could go back further to 2019, but I don't remember seeing him during that time, even though he remembers me. It was no fairytale "rainbows and butterflies" and "sparks flying." Although he still thinks it's just as great a story because I was one of his daughter's teachers and I lived across the street from the house he had rented. I shook his hand like a "real man" and said, "It's nice to meet you."  I was not interested in him at all when his aunt invited me over for dinner and he was there. We talked a little bit and the kids played outside. We said good night and that was that. But, apparently, it was enough in his eyes, because over the next few months of Covid when he took Jenna to Wisconsin and tried to homeschool her, he would text me periodically to ask questions about her work and basically use any excuse he could to get me to reply.

About 5 months later, at the end of July, he came back to Arizona and found me single. Somehow we ended up texting all night about tattoos and nonsense. Then one thing led to another, and a month later, we were experimenting with a long-distance relationship while he went back to Wisconsin. Thankfully that didn't last too long, though, because within 5 weeks, he was back in Arizona due to the Covid epidemic. And we have been inseparable ever since. :) <3

Fun fact: Our wedding will actually fall on our 3 year dating anniversary this year.
