FAQs

General information about the wedding, booking with Sandals, and our registry. For any other questions, please call/text us.

When and where is the wedding?

The wedding is at 4:00pm on Friday, April 12th 2024. It will be held offshore of the Royal Bahamian, at Sandals private island, Barefoot Cay, on the beach. Boat transportation to the private island is provided. Exact transport times TBD.

Can you provide more information on Sandals?

Sandals Royal Bahamian is located on the island of Nassau, Bahamas. It is about a 10 minute drive from the airport. It is an all inclusive, adults only (18 and over) resort. Sandals has 10 restaurants, unlimited liquors, 8 bars, 3 swim up bars, along with 7 pools, a beautiful beach, and various ocean activities. Please visit Sandal's website for more information.

Do you need a passport to enter the Bahamas?

Yes.

How can guests book a room? Is there a minimum number of nights required?

Sandals Royal Bahamian has a 3 night minimum requirement.

There are two ways to book - either call the wedding planner at 18777263257 ext 7799 to book a room and give her the Group Code, WG23161084, OR book directly through the Sandals website. There will be a field to enter our Group Code is WG23161084, which connects you to the wedding guest list (if you forget, let us know and we can add it on later). This code is required on your booking in order to attend the wedding. Guests will only be required to put a deposit down at time of booking, which will hold the room. The remaining balance is not due until 60 days before the arrival date. In addition to booking, please RSVP directly on here.

Note: Sandals online booking requires two people per room, however, they are making exceptions for our wedding guests, so if you need to book a room for a single person, please call Sandals to book and be sure to mention our wedding.

Note: Room availability is not guaranteed. The rates can change at any time, so we recommend booking now to secure your room and the lowest rate.

What days should guests book for?

For the 3 night minimum, we recommend Thursday April 11th through Sunday April 14th, however, you can pick the specific dates you want. Please note that there will be a welcome party for all guests on Thursday night. Time dependent on everyone's flight arrivals.

How far in advance should guests book?

Our wedding planner highly recommends that guests book as soon as possible to ensure availability as many months in 2024 are already filling up.

What if guests want to stay longer than 3 nights?

We will be there from April 9th through April 14th and would love for you to stay longer. Just book as normal and specify your dates there!

How and when should guests book a flight?

Sandals has flight options that you can add on at time of room booking. You can book the flight directly through Sandals, or a third party, but we suggest GoogleFlights.

How can guests get from the airport to Sandals?

Airport transfer is included in your booking (even if you do not book the flight through them). You will need to provide Sandals with the flight information.

Can guests stay outside the resort?

Yes, guests can stay at a different resort, however to enter Sandals for the wedding day, you will need to purchase a guest pass for $280 per person. Only 50% of guests can do this option, so please let us know in advance. Please also note that, as we will be having a welcome party the night before, you may not be able to enter Sandals to attend.

Where can guests view the registry?

As we look forward to celebrating our wedding with you, we realize we have all the “stuff” we need to start our lives together. What we want most of all is to create memorable experiences on our honeymoon. You can help us by contributing toward our dream trip to Italy. You can find our Honeymoon Fund registry at the link below and choose what part of our trip you’d like to be part of!

What is the wedding attire?

Vibrant colors, floral, long dresses, and pants. Shoes not needed. Suit jackets not required. Please do not wear light shades of purple, off-white, or white.

Does Sandals have a dress code?

"Resort casual by day, resort elegant by night. So while the sun is up, your shorts, tank tops, swim suits, short-sleeved shirts, sundresses and light slacks are the perfect attire. As the sun sets and you set out to enjoy the evening, proper attire is required (although elegant dress shorts are permitted in some restaurants)." Please note that the speciality restaurants require reservations in advance and men must wear long pants to enter.

Will there be cell phone service or internet?

Sandals has free wi-fi on resort, as well as on the private island. The wi-fi service is consistent and pretty fast! If you don't have an international plan, we recommend keeping your phone on airplane mode, and turning on wi-fi.

What is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP as soon as you can (or as soon as you book). If you are planning on coming, we suggest booking hotel/flight as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. Once you book with Sandals and link our code with your reservation, our wedding coordinator will automatically have you on the list, however please also RSVP on our site so that we are notified!

How can guests RSVP?

Directly on this site! Go to the RSVP page and enter your information. Please also let us know your exact travel dates.

Can I bring a Plus One?

Guests can bring a plus one only if this person was listed on the invitation. Please reach out with any questions.

What does the weekend schedule look like?

There will be a welcome party the night before, and many events the day of the wedding. Please check out the Schedule of Events section for more details.

Will there be dancing and entertainment?

If you know Ryan, you know he loves dancing, so of course! We will have a DJ throughout the reception, please check out the Schedule of Events section for more details.

What if guests cannot attend?

We still love and appreciate you! While we want all of our loved ones to come celebrate with us, we understand that this is a big investment of time and money and know that it may not be possible for some. We would like to thank you for being a part of this special time in our lives, even if you are not physically there! We hope to celebrate with you once we return.
