Nicole and Paul met in May of 2019, when he came to her home with his twin brother, Phillip who has a home improvement company to assist Phillip with refurbishing her deck. At that time, Nicole and Paul established a friendship. Over the years, Paul and Nicole would check in to see how each other was doing.
Fast forward to March 2022, Nicole and Paul were on a date at the Chart House (where they had their real first date). After dinner, Paul asked Nicole if she would do the honor of being his courtmate, and they sealed the deal. During this time, Paul continued to show his romantic side, which Nicole was enamored with. Paul continued his romanticism on a trip to Jamaica with Nicole in February 2023. At his parents' home in Jamaica, on her birthday, in front of family and friends, Paul proposed to Nicole. And the rest, as they would say, is history.
Nicole and Paul are blessed to bring children to form their beautiful, blended family, including Nicole’s son Ibn, a senior at Hampton University, as well as Paul’s daughters Ashely Windfield a doctor, Heather Gayle a musician, Hope Gayle a digital creator, and son Herbe Schwandt-Gayle. Nicole and Paul are extremely proud of each of them.
