It was love at first sight when Nikita saw Phylicia for the first time on Facetime, just like a fairy tale. Very quickly, we knew we had that Forever type of Love A.K.A to Infinity and Beyond. We never had the title of "Girlfriends", we felt safe with each other and together we made a home, So Nikita proposed. Nikita secretly planned the entire day and made it Phylicias most memorable moment. The First stop was the Aquarium because Phylicia loves sea life. Fun Fact! Speaking of Sea life, one of Nikita's favorite movies is 50 First Dates. After our Aquarium visit, we went home and got ready for dinner. The significance of the restaurant Nikita chose was that it was located on the same lake where we had our first date. The night before, Nikita dropped off the engagement ring and prayed it wouldn't be stolen, she was so nervous.
After we finished dinner the general manager and staff came out with "Dessert" which was actually a plate with a ring on it decorated with chocolate asking "Will You Marry Me?" and of course, I said "Absolutely!" Everyone seated by us had their phones out recording and I Laughed from being in shock.
Little did I know there was more to the night. While we were out Nikita's friend secretly laid rose petals on the the steps leading to our apartment in the house. She also blew up balloons and attached our photos to them.
We are proud to announce and celebrate our union On March 12, 2025, on our Wedding day, we will become one during this joyous occasion which also begins the start of our own family.
