Bride

Although we only lived minutes away from each other, it took good ol' UPS for our paths to cross in September of 2003. The weather was so hot and humid my first day on the job that the floors were slick as ice! I focused on the ground as I walked past the conveyor belts in fear that the puddles of condensation would cause me to lose my balance. However, it was when I looked up to see David peeking over a computer screen that I realized one flash of his charming smile would more likely sweep me off my feet.

We worked really well together. I actually looked forward to going to work because of him. Our co-workers had nicknames for us because we were often seen together laughing and smiling while we worked.

We frequently hung out together before and after work, only to come home and talk to each other on the internet. Many often teased us of being boyfriend and girlfriend, and at times we practically were, but at least one of us at one point or another was clueless of what we had.  It wasn't until a few years later after I moved two hours away that we both finally realized we should be together.

A long distance relationship is difficult, especially when you are going to school full-time and have one or two jobs, but we made it work. I would try to drive home most weekends to work at the restuarant and visit with my family and David. When David had shutdown at Chrysler he would come visit me for a week or two at a time.

In 2009 David became my roommate and attended a community college so he could become a CT tech. Shortly after we got our furry son, Dante. In 2010 we bought our first home and have made many cherrished memories along the way.

We are so excited to start the next chapter in our lives together and look forward to making many more wonderful memories!
