We first met the night of April 6, 2013 at the Tucana West. Earlier that night, Jessica and her girls had gone for dinner, attended the Wizards game and were at the Tucana West socializing.

Towards the end of the night, a handsome gentleman approached her and said the most charming words possible; “You looked bored.” Her response was “Yes and my feet are killing me.” Sar then introduced himself. 

Sar stared at Jessica for an awkward moment and asked her if she had attended Towson University. Her first thought was “oh boy he is acting like he knows me!” To Sar’s amazement, Jessica confirmed that she did attend Towson.

Naturally, Jessica asked Sar where did he lived while on campus? Sar gave the most dumbfounded gaze back to her. He looked extremely bewildered and confused; he just could not remember.

Jessica immediately rolled her eyes and was about to walk away, when Sar asked if he could call her sometimes? Sar confessed that he had a lot to drink and would appreciate the chance to have a sober conversation later.

Jessica agreed and the two exchanged numbers. Sar called the next day, something he has never done. Ever since then, the two have been inseparable.

What is extremely remarkable about our story is that we both attended Towson University, lived on campus for four years, but do not remember seeing each other. We can only conclude that God did not want us to meet prematurely, but wait until He had completed making us perfect for each other.
