Thank you for being part of this very special occasion for both of us and our families. We know that we have a lot of guests that are traveling from far away and we truly are excited to see each of you. Please know that we truly appreciate everyone and know that not all of our friends and families will be able to make the trip to Richmond in September, but we have you here in spirit and in our hearts.

As some of you may know, as a couple, we have almost everything someone may need to start a household. That and we are extremely particular about our kitchen items! :) After many conversations we decided we would love to have an amazing experience and create memories of our first trip as Husband & Wife even more special.

We met in Richmond and made the decision that our wedding will be in the place that we met each other and changed our lives. Both of us have been working in the hospitality industry for many years and never connected with anyone or had so much in common before meeting each other. For those who have no idea how it started...here is it.

Royston had moved to Richmond about a year before me and I had no plans to move here. It was February of 2015, when I relocated here to take job opportuntity to continue to grow my career. It was then that I met Royston. It wasn't long before we had started to talk and realized we went to the same college, Johnson & Wales, and had the same passion for food and wine...and of course Bourbon. It was my first weekend here and it was actually an extremely tough week. He asked me if I wanted to have some drinks and see some of Richmond...and that was the beginning of our relationship.

It wasn't long before we were always together and trying new restaurants out whenever we could. We introduced our dogs to each other in May, and well after a rough introduction, Calvin & Thor are best friends.

Right before our two year anniversary he proposed and we are so excited for the next chapter in our lives!
