Welcome

We met summer of 2009 on a mission trip to Kenya, Africa. It is very cool when you see God's spirit working through someone, and I believe that is how the initial chemistry came about. We both were dating other people at the time, so after we got home we both tried to neutralize these unexpected feelings we had for each other and move on with life. We both became very involved with the rock wall at Southeast and surrounded ourselves with a community of strong Christians, and excellent climbers :) Springtime rolled around and through the grapevine we both learned that the other was single. Micah asked me out to coffee and the rest is history. We started dating March 15, 2010 and 20 short months later we were engaged! We feel so blessed to be able to spend the rest of our lives together.

We will be tying the knot May 12, 2012 at The Kavanaugh Enrichment Center. Our wedding is going to be an expression of both of our personalities. Simple, rustic, woodsy, elegant, and fun. The ceremony will be outside, during the evening, lit up by thousands of strung up lights and the sun setting in the distance. No worries here folks! To get to the Reception you need only follow the well lit path across the lake to the Retreat center. Here you will enjoy a good-ole' southern meal, with plenty of dancing, and if you care to go outside there is a massive deck with tables to eat or drink at. We will also have a fire pit with all the fixings for s'mores set up in the nearby woods. Please relax and ENJOY yourselves. For out of town guests the retreat center offers lodging for only $50 a night.

We sincerely thank our dearest friends and family who have supported and loved on us through this entire marvelous journey. We couldn't have done it without you guys. Thank you for being a part of our big day! We look forward to these next few months of preparation, and the many, many years ahead! Lots of love!

We are greatly appreciative of any and all gifts that you all are willing to give. We have prioritized though, what we feel is most important, and not so important :) Because we both have been living on our own for quite some time, we have accquired a decent collection of kitchen ammenities, bedding, and bathroom necessities. We would love for you to consider purchasing vouchers towards our honeymoon in St. Lucia, which you will find under the "our registry" tab in the upper left corner. If that doesn't suit your fancy, we will also be registering at Target and Macy's here in a few months. (Who doesn't need some extra pots and pans?) Thanks again for all your love and support!
