CJ and Chris met originally in 1999. They dated while attending Rock Valley College and while at Northern Illinois University. They were together for a little over 2 years and then apart for more than 8! After 8 long years, CJ found Chris on Facebook, and they decided to meet and catch up with each other. Chris had tickets for Elton John and Billy Joel at Wrigley Field in Chicago and asked CJ to join her. They met up with each other every weekend after that going to Cubs games, festivals, and just enjoying going out to dinner and talking. They went on little adventures to Cedar Point (amusement park), the Bahamas and Vegas! In the fall, the two went SKYDIVING! They both got a DVD of their big jumps. Once they got home, they watched their videos. This is when CJ asked Chris to marry him (referrencing the "big plunge")! She said YES (obviously) and they are in the midst of planning one of the most exciting and happy times of their lives!

We are getting married on October 8th! We wish it was TODAY....but we will get to enjoy a fall wedding on a hopefully gorgeous afternoon!

Following cocktail hour (when we will frantically be taking group photos) we will have our reception to eat, dance, and party with our families and friends! It's going to be a blast!

We have not set a specific date for our honeymoon at this time. Thanks to hurricaine season and rainy season (July through Oct), we are considering waiting until late in October or early November to escape to a stress free, relaxing honeymoon!
