On February 4th Nate told Kaylee they were going to Turning Stone Lodge, a place they have enjoyed staying in the past, for a Darelle Revis (Jets player) party at their night club. A fake ticket was made and Nate sold the event to her by bringing several Jets memorbilia to get autographed.

On their way there Nate started to fake a migraine which he gets occasionally. Usually with some caffeine and advil it calms down. When they arrived at the Lodge they got into their suite when Nate laid on the bed in agony over his fake migraine. Nate banked on Kaylee offering to grab him a soda which she did so he waited until she left and locked the door quick.

Nate quickly got up and spread rose petals around the room to where he would be on one knee and poured a glass of champage by the door with a note to take it. Unfortunately Kaylee was a little fast with getting a coke and came back to the door locked before set-up was complete. She said she heard Nate yelling hold on a second as she heard the door unlock and his feet running away from the door while he yelled come in.

To make a long story short she said yes.

Later that night they had reservations at one of the casino's nice restaurants where she was surprised by her parents (Mike and Donna Kowalczyk), her brother and girlfriend (Kris Kowalczyk and Kelly Landers, Nate's parents (Tim and Kim Fiedler), his sister and boyfriend (Danielle Fiedler and Ryan Tronovitch), and his brother and girlfiend/Kaylee's second cousin (Trevor Fiedler and Michelle Mainella) who happen to be the best man and maid of honor.
