ATMs are available on the island if you need to withdraw local currency, but keep in mind that foreign transaction fees may apply. Smaller denominations of U.S. dollars are useful for tips and small purchases.

Before your trip, notify your bank of your travel plans to avoid any issues with using your card abroad.
