How do I reserve a room in advance?

It is imperative to reserve/book a room ASAP as rooms are first come first serve and pricing will vary. Reserving a room requires a $400 deposit. $98 will be required immediately as a holding fee and the rest of the deposit will automatically be charged three weeks later.
The full price of your stay must be paid NLT 60 days prior to the wedding date (Wedding Date: April 24, 2025).
You may cancel your stay and receive a full refund up to 45 days before the wedding date.
Please keep in mind that Sandals requires guests to stay a minimum of 3 nights in order to book.
Are there service personnel discounts?
Yes! Sandals offers a 10% discount for firefighters, military, police, and FEMA members.
For those who qualify for any of these discounts, please contact our wedding concierge, Debra Lyn, at 1-877-726-3257 Ext 4644/3446 or dmcglashan@uvltd.com to ensure your discount is applied before booking your room.

Is there anything else I should know before I book my room?
Yes! Because this is a wedding with multiple groups of people and rooms, Sandals provides all guests with a group code. The group code must be entered into your room reservation NLT 60 days prior to arrival.
What is the group code?
The group code is WG24169209 and will be entered during checkout when you book your room.
If you are not tech savy or are having issues entering the group code, please contact the wedding concierge, Debra Lyn at 1-877-726-3257 Ext 4644/3446 or you may email her at dmcglashan@uvltd.com. She will assist you with booking your room and adding the group code for you.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?
Not really. However, this is Jamaica, so think beach wedding. Opt for lightweight and breathable fabrics, such as cotton or linen, in light and neutral colors.
Reminder - All white attire is exclusively for the bride.
What is included at Sandals Ochi?
Unlimited Food & Drinks, Entertainment, Water Sports, Land Sports, Roundtrip Airport Transfers, All Tips, Taxes, Gratuities, & More!!!
That's right. No need to tip. Sandals covers all tips, taxes, and gratuities. Only butlers and spa therapists are permitted to accept gratuities.
What airport do I fly into?
Sangster International Airport (MBJ) Montego Bay, Jamaica

How will I get to the resort?
Sandals offers complimentary shared ride roundtrip airport transfers, so no need to pay for a taxi or Uber.
The complimentary shuttle transfer time varies depending on which airport you fly into.
Transfer time from MBJ takes just over 1.5 hours
Transfer time from KIN takes just over 1.5 hours
Transfer time from OCJ takes 20 minutes. *OCJ limited by airlines*
If you prefer a faster and more private transfer, that is a separate additional cost that you will have to pay.
Can singles still attend even though Sandals is listed as a couples resort?
Yes, however couples rates still apply for the purposes of room pricing for single attendees.
I am unable to attend the wedding, but want to make some type of contribution, am I able to do so?
Yes! We have a gift registry where you can contribute toward the wedding/honeymoon.
Additionally, we will be having a "Just Married" celebration in Austin on May 3rd, 2025 after we return from Jamaica for those who were unable to attend, but still want to celebrate with us!
Do I have to bring a wedding gift?
Bringing a wedding gift is entirely up to you. It is not mandatory. If you prefer to not travel with a gift, you may look into our wedding/honeymoon gift registry or present your gift at a separate occassion.
Are there vegetarian/vegan options?
Yes. Sandals offers multiple vegetarian/vegan options.
Please let the bride and groom know of your dietary restrictions ASAP, so that accommodations can be made for you.
