What is the dress code?
Dress code is Cocktail Attire (No sneakers or jeans)
Women: Cocktail dress, dressy jumpsuit, dress slacks and blouse
Men: Suit (tie optional), button-down shirt and dress slacks
Please note that all events will take place outdoors in the afternoon/evening so bring a light jacket to keep warm if needed.
What is the best way to RSVP and what is the deadline?
The best way to RSVP is on this website on the homepage next to schedule of events button. Click on the RSVP button and complete the form.
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Sandals Montego Bay will be the only hotel we have blocked rooms for our wedding weekend. Contact Meika Cole (248) 420-4908 or meika@travelnbags.com to book hotel accommodations. There is a payment plan available for all guests. Final payments will be due in August.
What time is check-in/check-out?
Check-in is at 3:00PM. If you arrive prior to check-in, the helpful staff at Sandals will safely secure your luggage and inform you when your room is ready. While waiting, you can freely enjoy the property's amenities, as your all-inclusive vacation has already begun. Check-out is at 11:00AM, so if your flight departs later, you can secure luggage with Sandals and still enjoy amenities, like grabbing a bite to eat or sitting by the sea while you wait.
Can I stay at another hotel and attend your wedding?
Yes, but you must purchase a guest day pass for $280 per person from Sandals to gain entry to the property the day of the wedding. Our preference is that all of our wedding guest stay at Sandals, but do understand if other accommodations need to be made. Please let us know when you RSVP in the notes section the hotel you will be staying at.
What time should I arrive at the wedding?
Guest should arrive 15 minutes before the start time of the ceremony. This will allow the nuptials to begin in a timely manner and let the celebration begin.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
Unfortunately, Sandals is an adult-only resort and is 18yrs and up. We hope this will allow you a much deserved weekend/week off to celebrate with us!
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Sandals rooms are based on double occupancy, so you are allowed to bring a plus one. We are at capacity with our venue which means we sadly are unable to accommodate additional guests aside from your plus one. We look forward to celebrating with you on the day of our wedding
What type of food will be served at your wedding?
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a buffet dinner at the reception with a selection of meat, fish, vegan dishes and salads will be served; as well as, desserts.
Can I post wedding photos on social media?
Yes, feel free to post pictures on your social media. Please use the hashtag #meethemcgowans so we can enjoy your photos and add them to our digital photo album.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
All of the wedding festivities will take place outdoors weather permitting. If it is raining at anytime during the ceremony, cocktail hour or wedding reception, the location will be moved to an indoor space.
What should I expect after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the wedding party and couple will be taking pictures on the beach and Sandals property for around an hour. Guest will walk over the beach area where we have light hors d'oeuvres and cocktails.
Will you be live streaming your wedding?
Unfortunately, the wedding will not be live streamed during any part of the wedding day festivities.

Where should we bring or send our wedding gift?
Your presence at our wedding is present enough! However, for friends and family who have expressed an interest, we've created an online registry on this site for our honeymoon.
