4. Tipping policy:

Sandals’ all-inclusive experience extends to tipping as well. The only staff members who are exempt from the No-tipping Policy are butlers and spa therapists.

Drivers, tour guides, and other non-Sandals staff can receive tips. US$ are readily accepted across the islands; bringing smaller bills is advised, as change in anything other than local currency may be hard to come by.

5. Weather:

Weather is pleasantly steady year-round in the Caribbean. In tropical climate, some “liquid sunshine” can be expected, but rainfall is generally brief, humidity is high, and temperatures rarely reach below 70 °F.

We understand that forecasts can be overwhelming, especially during the rainy/hurricane season on the islands. We advise taking forecasts with a grain of salt, and always suggest purchasing travel insurance to prepare for unforeseen circumstances. Our Travel agent can assist with this.

6. Toiletries:

Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and bar soap. Q-tips, cotton balls, and hair dryers are also available.

7. Making reservations while at Resort:

Reservations can be made upon arrival at the resort. For spa and tour services, bookings must be made on property in order to honor any promotional credits.

Dining: Reservations (for the restaurants that require them) must be made once on property. Depending on room category, this can be done directly through the culinary desk, with the help of the Club Sandals concierge, or by asking your butlers to make arrangements through the butler preference form.

Spa: Spa treatments can be booked via the Sandals website by visiting www.sandals.com/redlane-caribbean-spa/spa-treatments/. If a spa credit is being used, booking must be made on property.

Excursions: Information on excursions offered by the on-property tour desk is available on the website, at www.sandals.com/activities/tours/. If an excursion credit is being used, booking must be made on property.

Candlelight dinners: You can find information and book candlelight dinners on the Sandals website, here: www.sandals.com/general/candlelight-dinner/

8. Diving at the resorts:

All certified divers are required to do a scuba orientation on arrival and provide a medical evaluation form. Guests will need to read and fill out the mandatory medical questionnaire, which will assess if they meet the minimum physical requirements to safely participate in this sport.

In case of any contra-indications (like answering “yes” to any preexisting conditions in the form), divers must seek the advice of a physician prior to engaging in dive activities, and must have a doctor complete and sign the form in order to dive at any of the resorts.

Dive instructors at the resorts have the final approval on whether or not a guest is considered fit to dive.

More information about scuba can be found at www.sandals.com/scuba/

9. Drinking water (tap or bottled only?):

Since all resorts have water filtration plants on property, tap water in rooms is safe for drinking. Of course, bottled water is included in all room categories and available at all restaurants.

10. Club Mobay/Club Kingston:

Club Mobay is a customs and immigration fast-track service available at MBJ and KIN airports, which includes arrival and departure lounges. Further information about these services is available on the Island Routes website: www.islandroutes.com
