HOW DO I RSVP AND WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?
Please RSVP on our wedding website by January 1st so we know how many people are coming to be able to plan our wedding. The ability to RSVP will be turned off after this date.
HOW DO I BOOK MY ROOM AND FLIGHTS? WHEN SHOULD I BOOK BY?
Go onto the Sandals Ochi website, select "Check Rates & Availability", select Sandals Ochi in the dropdown menu, select the dates you wish to join us, and choose which room you would like to stay in. On the next page select your departing airport and choose your desired flight times. Then you can contact Lindy Fortune at 1-877-726-3257 Ext 7789 and give her the guest code WG24168946 to book your stay for the Ford Wedding! Do not book your room through the website.
The rooms have to be paid for by July 29th, 2025 so you can book anytime before that.
DO I GET A PLUS ONE?
We will not be giving plus ones, the envelopes will include the names of all who are invited!
ARE KIDS ALLOWED?
Sandals Ochi is an adults-only resort, specifically designed for couples so kids are not allowed.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Guests should plan to arrive at least one day prior to the wedding to settle in and in case of any travel delays or mishaps.
WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER IN JAMAICA?
Jamaica’s daytime temperatures are a comfortable 86-88°F. Expect tropical rainfall on some days, but these often break for sunshine quickly. The ocean temperature is around 84°F. The wind is calm and nighttime temperatures are around 75-79°F.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Attire is Beach Formal.
What is Beach Formal? Stick to light & breathable materials and light colors & linens. You don’t want anything too heavy that will have you sweating during the event. Dress as nice as you can while still being comfortable & cool.
Examples:
Light coloured linen button up shirts
Blazer with nice slacks
Long or mid-length flowy dresses
Wedges or low heels for women
HOW DOES SEATING WORK?
The ceremony will be open seating so sit wherever you are comfortable. For the reception, we will be arranging tables so guests are sat with those they know.
