How do I book a room?
You can book your room by calling our Sandals concierge, Kate (she's fantastic)! She can also help you book flights and travel insurance. Please provide our group code when you call.
What are the room tiers?
Sandals rooms are broken up into three tiers: Luxury, Club Level, and Butler Elite. The basic room is the Luxury, while the Club and Butler rooms offer extra perks and a concierge service. All room tiers have access to the same restaurants, bars, and activities.
Which room should I choose?
Every room at Sandals South Coast is beachfront, so you'll have a beautiful view no matter which room you select! The property is divided into three main "villages": the French, Dutch, and Italian village. We would recommend staying in the Dutch or Italian village, as these rooms have been more recently updated. If you are unsure of which room to choose, ask our Sandals concierge to help you! You can also view a map of the property here: https://www.sandals.com/south-coast/maps/
What is included in my room rate?
Sandals is an all-inclusive resort, so your room rate includes all food, drinks, and a bunch of activities. Learn more about everything included here: https://www.sandals.com/all-inclusive/what-is-included/
Do I have to stay at Sandals?
No, you can definitely stay elsewhere if you wish! However, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. Sandals South Coast is located in a pretty remote area (surrounded by a 500-acre nature preserve!), so hotel options are a bit more limited than in the touristy Montego Bay or Negril areas. Also, you will need a day pass in order to attend the wedding, and you will need to make your own transportation arrangements. Please let us know if you will be staying off-site so we can arrange the day pass for you.
When should I arrive?
We will be on site from April 11th, so feel free to arrive early to hang out with us before the wedding! The number of nights you stay is totally up to you.
Which airport should I fly in to?
Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay, Jamaica. From there, it's about a 90-minute drive to Sandals South Coast.
Is transportation from the airport included?
YES! After you make your way through immigration at the airport, find the Sandals desk. They offer complimentary airport transfers on a bus. Note that it is about a 90-minute ride on some bumpy roads (if you get motion sickness, we'd recommend taking some dramamine just in case). If you'd prefer a private transfer via car, Sandals can arrange that for you for an additional fee - ask our concierge for details.
What documents are required to visit Jamaica?
For US citizens, a valid passport and a copy of your return travel ticket are required. For details, see here: https://www.visitjamaica.com/plan-your-trip/good-to-know/entry-requirements/
What should I pack?
Suggested packing lists are provided in this blog: https://www.sandals.com/blog/what-to-pack-for-a-vacation-in-jamaica/
