FAQs

Do I need my passport?


Yes! To fly into and out of The Bahamas you will need your passport. If your passport will expire before January 20th, 2025, please renew your passport more than 8 weeks before your departure date to ensure that all your documents will be ready in time.

 

Is there a dress code?


Yes, our wedding and reception will be Beach Casual. For example, Men can wear khaki or chino pants. On top, men can wear a button-down shirt (short sleeves are acceptable) or a solid-color polo. Women can wear sundresses or dressy separates, like a nice top and skirt. Instead of heels, try a pair of strappy or platform sandals. No flip-flops or denim.

 

What is included in my Sandals stay?


Sandals is an all-inclusive resort. Once you land in Nassau, transportation will be provided to get you to and from the resort. All food, drinks, accommodations, wifi, and activities on the resort are included as part of your stay.

 

How should I book my stay?

Are children under 18 allowed?


Sandals resorts are exclusively for adults 18 and older. If you have children that you would like to bring to the wedding you unfortunately will need to stay outside of the resort and purchase a day pass for the day of the wedding. We have a limited number of spots for children, so please inform our travel agent Laura ahead of time if you plan on bringing kids.

 

Is Sandals Royal Bahamian safe?


Yes! The Sandals Royal Bahamian is a gated complex with security working 24/7. If you would like to explore outside of the resort, they offer guided excursions from local experts to help keep you safe.

 

What should I pack?


In January in The Bahamas, you can expect sunshine, warm temperatures of 85F during the day, and cooler evenings around 70F. Pack lightweight clothing, swimwear, sun protection, sandals, phone chargers, personal toiletries and medications, and of course your passport. Don't worry about cash as the resort is all-inclusive.
