Finding the venue
East & Botolph Claydon Village Hall is on Botyl Rd, Botolph Claydon, Buckingham MK18 2LR. The hamlet of Botolph Claydon is located in between the towns of Aylesbury, Bicester, Buckingham and Milton Keynes.
Parking at the venue
There are several parking spaces at the venue itself, with additional parking at the next door primary school and on-road spaces outside the venue. We'll provide more details closer to the time.
More about the venue
East & Botoloph Claydon Village Hall connects through to the Mushroom Village bar and has a large garden to the back - which we will hopefully get enjoy in the sunshine! For more info see: https://claydonsvillagehall.org.uk/
Food and drink
Food will be available throughout from afternoon into the evening, served buffet-style.
In addition to the hall, we have hired the Mushroom Village Bar to keep everyone hydrated. The bar is community run and drinks are a very good price and can be purchased using cash or card.
For those with a sweet-tooth like the Bride, head to the sweet table!
Please let us know of any dietry requirements so we can ensure there is something for everyone.
What to wear
Dress code: Cocktail Attire
The reception will be held across inside and outside spaces.
Accessibilty
The venue has step free access and we will reserve parking spaces closest to the venue for those with mobility concerns. The venue has a disabled toilet with baby changing facilties.
A fridge and hot water will be avaliable for use to store/heat baby's milk.
WiFi
Free Wifi will be avaliable at the venue.
A note on gifts
We're humbled to have you join us to celebrate our wedding, and your presence is truly present enough. However, if you feel so obliged to give a gift, we'd love to put some pennies together to save for something we will treasure.
Please note, for convenience we will have means to accept gift money via card payments on the day (using Kenton's SumUp machine).
Watching our wedding ceremony
We're eloping and getting married on Saturday 4th May at 4PM GMT, we plan to livestream the ceremony on YouTube and will share the video link on the day of the wedding, you will be able to find it on the 'Schedule of events' page of this website.
