Is There a Wedding Dress Code?
Yes! Please come dressed in semi-formal attire. Semi-formal wedding attire sits at the sweet spot between dressy and elevated casual. It’s also commonly referred to as “dressy casual”. Please dress comfortably and suited for Jamaica's hot weather.
Does the Bride and Groom Have a Wedding Registry?
No. The bride and groom do not have a wedding registry. The most important gift to us is having you share our special day.
Is There a Fee to Join the Wedding From a Different Resort?
Yes. Please be aware that if guests have booked accomodations outside of Sandals Ochi Beach Resort, there is a $155 usd fee per adult and $55 usd fee per child to enter and join the wedding at Sandals.
Is the Wedding Ceremony and Reception Indoors or Outdoors?
Both wedding ceremony and reception will be held indoors. The wedding ceremony will take place in Sandals' Beautiful Over the Water Chapel. The wedding reception will take place inside a private ballroom.
What Should I Do Between the Ceremony and the Reception?
We will host a cocktail hour right after the ceremony. This will be a great opportunity to take professional photos with the bride and groom. Please enjoy a cold beverage before moving to the ballroom at 6pm for the dinner reception.
I Have a Food Preference, What Should I Do?
If you have a food preferenece/allergy to the listed menu, please inform the bride or groom immediately. This information must be shared with the resort and chef. Please include this information when selecting a dinner menu under the "RSVP" tab on this website.
What is the Average Weather in Jamaica during August?
Days are usually hot with balmy evenings, so guests should pack light and cool clothing. The average daily maximum is 32 C and the average daily minimum is 26 C.
