FAQs

Please check back in periodically for updates on this website!

Do we need to RSVP by a certain date?

Yes, by July 15th. Please only RSVP if you know you can for sure make it. The resort  requires an exact amount of people four months prior to the wedding.

Where is the wedding happening?

We will be staying at Sandals Resort in Negril Jamaica. This will also be where our ceremony is held. Here is a link to the resort site:

Do I need a passport to travel to jamaica?

YES! You will need a passport! Whether you are an adult, minor, or infant, you will need a  passport. Passports can take over 8 weeks to be renewed at times so make sure to make an appointment to get/renew your passport a minimum of 3 months before traveling.

What if we bring our children?

The Sandals Resort is an adult only resort. However,  there is a neighboring Beaches resort that is kid friendly. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are bringing children so we can request resort manager approval for them to be at the ceremony. We are allowed and absolute max of 5 children (under 18)

Children will also need passports, no matter how young.

Do we need to stay at the Resort?

We ask that you make every effort to stay at either Sandals Negril or Beaches Negril because the resort has a policy requiring at least 80% of wedding guests to stay at either resort location. Please contact us before planning on staying somewhere else. Please note that it is also a $150 fee to come onto the resort the day of the wedding if you are not staying at Sandals or Beaches.

Which airport should we fly into?

Prices vary with airports but the airport in Montego Bay is much closer to Negril than Kingston... So fly into Montego Bay.

How do we get to the resort and is there a shuttle from the airport?

The resort has a shuttle that runs from the airport in Montego Bay, but does not have shuttles from Kingston.

What is the dress code?

Business casual for the ceremony. Casual the rest of the time.

Is there a group name or number with the resort?

If you decide to come there is a group code that you can give when you reserve your room. It tells the resort you are with us.

The group code is: WG24169716

Wedding # 24604586180

Do we have to be there all 5 nights?

We will be there from Nov. 30 - Dec 5. Guests don't have to stay as long as us but the resort does require a Min. of 3 nights at the resort.
