We know planning a trip for a destination wedding comes with lots of questions, so we've put together this FAQ section to help! From travel and accomodations to wedding day details, you'll find answers to the most common questions here. If you need additional information, don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help make your trip as smooth and enjoyable as possible!

Travel & Accommodation

 1. Do I need a passport to travel to St. Lucia?

Yes, a valid passport is required for travel to St. Lucia. Please ensure it’s not expired and has at least six months of validity remaining.

 2. What is the nearest airport to the Sandals Grande St. Lucian, Sandals La Toc, and Sandals Halcyon Beach?

If you are arriving at Vigie-  SLU, upon arrival, you will proceed to the Sandals desk or lounge, conveniently located at the airport serving Saint Lucia. Your complimentary transfer to and from the resort will be arranged by Sandals. Transfer time from SLU to the Sandals property is 15-20 minutes. 

If you are arriving at Hewanorra Internaional Airport- UVF, upon arrival, you will proceed to the Sandals desk or lounge, conveniently located at the airport serving Saint Lucia. Your complimentary transfer to and from the resort will be arranged by Sandals. Transfer time from UVF to the Sandals property is about 120 minutes.

When you arrive to the airport in St. Lucia, please go to the Sandals lounge. Once you arrive there, everything will be taken care of.

3. Are flights included?

No, flights are not included in the base rate of your Sandals vacation. However, you can add round trips to your booking by contacting Sandals Reservation Department. Sandals also offers travel protection plans that may include flight refunds. 

4. How do I book my stay at the resort?

Please use our wedding group code: WG24173002 when booking. Contact Lynne at 1-877-726-3257, extension 4644 for assistance, if needed. 

 5. Can I stay off of the resort?

Yes! If you do not want to stay at Sandals Grande St. Lucian, you have the option to book your stay at two, more affordable resorts, Sandals La Toc or Sandals Halcyon Beach. Both resorts are 20 minutes away from Sandals Grande St. Lucian and will provide transportation to and from our resort. Please keep in mind that you must book your stay with a Sandals resort to be able to come onto the Sandals Grande St. Lucian resort. 

6. Is there a payment plan available for my vacation?

Please note that Sandals Resorts offers a flexible payment plan to make booking your stay more convenient:

Initial Payment: $98 to hold your room (Please do this as soon as possible).
Second Payment: $302, due 21 days after the initial payment
Final Payment: The full balance is due 60 days before your arrival.

*Bookings made 60 days or less prior to arrival must be paid in full at time of booking.*

In between the second payment and final payment, you can make payments in whatever amount you choose, whenever you choose to. You are not obligated to make a set payment month to month. We recommend downloading the Sandals Beaches App to go in and make payments at your convenience.

7. What's included in my Sandals vacation?

Wedding Events

 8. What should I wear to the wedding?

The dress code for the wedding is neutral (beige, tan, nude). Please copy and paste the link below into your browser to see examples of different shades of neutral. Be mindful of the warm, beachy weather!

 9. Are children allowed at the wedding?

We love your little ones! However, we have already reached the maximum number of children who can attend the wedding. Thank you for your understanding.

 10. What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Please arrive by 2:15 to ensure seating before the ceremony begins promptly at 3 PM.

 11. What happens if it rains?

We have a backup indoor location to ensure the festivities continue without interruption.

 

Resort Details

 12. Is the resort all-inclusive?

Yes, all meals, drinks, certified scuba diving, and water and land sports are included in your stay. 

 


General Questions

 13. Is there a gift registry?

Your presence is our greatest gift, but if you’d like to give something extra, a link to our registry is coming soon.

 14. Can I bring a plus one?

All Sandals resorts are a couples resort ONLY. However, the person you bring does not have to be your significant other, but you must book your room with one other person. To confirm that it is ok for that person to attend the wedding please contact Michael or Ashae ASAP.
