WHAT TIME DOES THE WEDDING START?
The ceremony overlooking the beach starts at 4pm followed by cocktail hour at 5pm and the reception at 6pm.
WILL THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION BE AT THE SAME VENUE?
Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be at Sandals Royal Curacao.
WHEN DO I NEED TO RSVP BY?
We kindly request your RSVP by April 30th for our wedding. Your response would greatly assist us in finalizing our arrangements. Thank you for your consideration!
WILL THERE BE VEGETARIAN OPTIONS AT THE WEDDING?
All guests with dietary needs will be accommodated. Please specify needs when RSVPing or text/email the bride or groom by May 1st.
WHAT IF I HAVE SEVERE FOOD ALLERGIES?
All guests with severe food allergies will be accommodated. Please specify needs when RSVPing or text/email the bride or groom by May 1st.
WHAT IF I HAVE MOBILITY ISSUES AND NEED SPECIAL ACCOMODATIONS FOR THE DAY OF THE WEDDING?
All guests with mobility issues will be accommodated. Please specify needs when RSVPing or text/email the bride or groom by May 1st. For example, if you think you would like assistance to take you between the ceremony, the cocktail hour, and reception venues located on different parts of the property, please let us know.
WHAT IS THE ATTIRE FOR THE WEDDING?
Nice wedding attire is welcomed; however, the weather will average a high of 90°F with a low of 80°F. Resort wear, nice shorts/collared shirts are ok for men, and resort wear, nice dresses are ok for women.
WHAT IS THE ATTIRE FOR FRIDAY NIGHT?
Anything ranging from Trendy to Resort Chic/Boating Attire will work great!
WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN CURACAO IN AUGUST?
The high is (avg. 90) with warm evenings (avg. 80). The ceremony and reception will be outdoors so dress accordingly.

When booking, remember to include our wedding group code to secure your spot on our guest list for both the wedding and surrounding events.

CAN I BRING A DATE?
We're limiting attendance to those invited plus spouses and significant others. If you are traveling solo- we are allowing each invited guest a plus one. If you have any questions, please reach out to the couple directly.
ARE CHILDREN WELCOME?
While we love your little ones, our wedding and surrounding events are going to be at Sandals Curacao, which is an adults-only resort so that everyone can relax and enjoy the wedding vacation. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
ANY TIPS FOR THE RESORT?
1. Download the Sandals App to your phone to see all restaurants, menus, restaurant dress codes (resort casual vs resort evening), maps, entertainment options, resort options, and more.
2. You can make restaurant reservations at the 2 restaurants that require dinner reservations as soon as you arrive at the resort, since you can only make them at the resort once you have your room #. All other restaurants do not require reservations. We would recommend showing up to most of the restaurants within the first 45 minutes of opening or plan on a 20-30 minute wait. The food trucks and bars are relatively quick.
3. Bring Plenty of Sunscreen.
DOES CURACAO REQUIRE A PASSPORT?
To ensure a smooth travel experience, Curaçao requires a valid passport with an expiration date at least 6 months after the date of the trip.
WHAT ELSE DOES CURACAO REQUIRE FOR TRAVEL?
You must fill out the Curacao Digital Immigration Card online for the Curacao government before you leave and no more than 5 days before you arrive.

WHAT CHARGING PORTS DO I NEED FOR SANDALS CURACAO?
They have about 2 American charging ports per room. Most of the rooms have a number of European EU charging ports, so if you need more charging ports, it would be advised to bring an EU Type C adapter.
RESORT DRESS CODE FOR RESTAURANTS?
Resort casual is shorts or jeans, t-shirts or polo shirts. Swimwear must be covered. Shirts and footwear required.
Resort evening is dress pants or jeans for men, long or short sleeve dress shirts (with or without collar). Dress shoes or sandals. No shorts, t-shirts, sleeveless shirts, sneakers, flip flops, or slippers. No hats. Only required for Butch's and Vincent restaurants. All other restaurants are resort casual.
WHAT BARS ARE AT SANDALS CURACAO?
All of the restaurants listed on the Sandals App (see resort tips above) have their own bars. The bars below are separate from the restaurants and have their own hours.
1. Main pool: 10 am to 5 pm
2. Quiet pool: 10 am to 4-5 pm
3. Lobby bar: 10 am to 2 am
4. Beach bar: 10 am to 10 pm
5. Tuin bar: 11 am to 7 pm
6. Melemele bar: 10 am to 5 pm
