Shar, who affectionately calls the bride “little sis” met Sierra during their undergraduate journey at Baylor University. The bride cherishes the shared memories of going to BOTBS, late nights at Moody Library, and the various outings during their collegiate career. Shar is a fitness and nutrition enthusiast who lives in the gym!

Morgan and the bride first became friends in 2019, once they realized they shared multiple classes. Bonded together by their shared love for writing, shopping, and being the same height, they have been a force to be reckoned with! Morgan loves to travel and explore the world, she has been to 8 countries and counting!

Upon moving to Kansas City, Imani and the bride's friendship evolved from acquaintances to very close friends! A mutual friend between both the bride and groom, Imani has been a constant supporter and an even better friend! One thing about Imani is that she is going to use that PTO to take a trip!

Caleb is not only the groom's older brother but also his lifelong confidant and partner in countless adventures. He has been the groom's biggest advocator, supporter, and motivator throughout countless monumental moments in the groom's life. Caleb can do no wrong in the groom's eye! Proverbs 17:17 says, "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity." His sense of humor, wisdom, and loyalty make him the perfect best man. Currently, he works for the State Department and resides in the Washington, D.C. area.

Marlon has known the groom since he was a little boy, in fact, they grew up in the church together! For over 20 years, he has been a source of wisdom, a protector, and a close companion to the groom. Marlon has been a constant motivator in all of the groom's pursuits and life endeavors. Psalm 133:1 says, "Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity." Currently, he works as a security officer and resides in Kansas City, Missouri.

Zeru first met the groom in middle school at Maranatha Christian Academy in Shawnee, Kansas. In addition to being classmates, Zeru and the groom were also teammates during track, cross country, and basketball which forged a friendship that has stood the test of time! Zeru has exemplified what it means to have a servant's heart and to be a devoted follower of Christ. 1 Peter 4:10 says, "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace." Currently, Zeru is pursuing his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
