FAQs
How should I book my trip?
The bride and groom have employed the services of Julia Mickens (info@adventureswithjewels.com) to assist with making reservations at either Sandals Montego Bay (SMB) or Sandals Royal Caribbean (SRC). The two resorts are approximately 10 minutes apart but all wedding festivities will take place at SMB!
Do I have to stay at a Sandals resort?
If you prefer another location on the island, Julia can help book your accommodations and arrange transportation for the wedding festivities. Please note Sandals offers three different resort passes for guests not staying on the resort: $180 per person for the day (10 am - 6 pm) or evening (6 pm to 2 am) passes. The full day pass (10 am - 2 am) is $340 per person. We are limited to 10 guests not staying on the property so please reach out to Julia as soon as you can!
Is there a deadline to book travel?
Making reservations in advance ensures that you get the best rates on the widest selection of rooms. While it's ideal to pay your first deposit as soon as you can, we ask that you ensure your final payment is confirmed with Julia by July 15, 2025. Formal invitations will be sent with the full wedding itinerary in August 2025.
What should I wear to the wedding?
With temperatures ranging from 72 to 84 degrees, December in Jamaica is much more enjoyable than Michigan! A sundress paired with sandals or heels is ideal for ladies; while khaki slacks, linen shirts, and nice sandals are suitable for men. We ask that you avoid traditional bridal colors like white, ivory and cream.
Is there a gift registry?
Attending a destination wedding requires significantly more time and money than a local one, and the happy couple will be eternally grateful for your efforts. You have helped the bride and groom become who they are today, so your presence as they celebrate this next chapter in life is more valuable than any gift.
Who should I reach out to with other questions?
Please email the bride and groom at themannings0323@gmail.com. We look forward to seeing you in Jamaica!
