Here are some essential tips and tricks regarding travel to our destination wedding!

Airport

Hewanorra International Airport (UVF), Vieux Fort, Saint Lucia

The larger of the two airports, UVF, is about a 90-minute drive from the resort by car. Most international flights use this airport, and Sandals has an exclusive lounge there for us to use and are willing to shuttle us to the resort.

American Airlines

American Airlines is the airport you will use if you plan to fly out from Charlotte Douglas Airport like us. We plan to invest in their credit card, get their 50,000 bonus flight points, and pay for our flights, along with using the flight credits we received when booking initially! Flights for the week of stay become available December 23rd, 2024.

Shuttle

It has been said that the drive with the given shuttle to the resort can be tough on those prone to motion sickness. There are other scenic options to arrive at the resort that are less bumpy and more of an adventure, such as helicopter rides and even ferry tours! They take less time as well.
