Bride

I am from a small town near Pittsburgh, PA called Latrobe, home of Arnold Palmer and the late Rolling Rock (I know Rob, you hate that beer)! Even though I am from a small town, I enjoy venturing out to new cities, experiencing new adventures, and meeting all kinds of people.

I graduated from "THE" (I had to do it Rob ;-) Pennsylvania State University back in 2007 and bleed blue and white!!  I decided to move to the Washington, D.C. area back in October of 2009 with the help of my relatives Bob and Diane Wells (aka my surrogate parents).  As Bob tells the story, I lived with them for a long 6 months before getting my own place, but in reality, it was only a couple of weeks ;-) I had ventured down to DC to work towards becoming a Federal agent and have been lucky to obtain a position as an Inspector General Auditor.  I fell in love with the city and I have lived here ever since.  Even though my home and heart now resides in the DC area, I will never lose my roots being from Pittsburgh and I am and will always be a die-hard Steeler fan!

I am also a brand new mother to a beautiful, baby girl name Olivia.  She is 5 weeks old and has stolen my heart from the moment I saw her. She also has a big brother, "little" Robby (Rob's mini-me), that loves his baby sister and is about to turn 3 years old :-)  I am also looking forward to taking on the role as Robby's step mom and watching him grow into a little handsome man, just like his daddy!

Rob and I are both hard workers, but we find time to enjoy every moment with each other and our growing family!  As Rob's mom suggested, we are supposed to have another 2-3 kids, but we have agreed on one for now! haha.  I couldn't be anymore blessed!

I am from EVERYWHERE, thanks to my parents being US Marines!  It actually was an awesome experience living in California, Japan, and Florida.  Even though the moves were a little tough and we had to leave friends and family behind, I wouldn’t trade my experience growing up as a military brat for anything!

If I had to claim one area as my HOME. it would no doubt be Florida.  I'm a Florida boy all the way.  I graduated from the University of Florida in 2006.  YES, I was there when Tebow-mania was going on, and YES I am a Tebow fan, and YES Tebow really is who he says he is!! But most importantly, YES...Tebow did beat Katie's Pittsburgh Steelers with an exceptional pass on the first play in overtime last year to advance in the playoffs!! (Sorry Katie, had to do it! LOL!)

I myself moved to the DC area in December of 2008, seeking a career in Federal Law Enforcement.  Haven't gotten there yet, but this is a great area for pursuing that career.  Hopefully one day I'll get to the Federal Agent Status that I'd like to be at.  Unlike Katie, this area really disgusts me sometimes.  I think there are beautiful parts here and there, but most of it is just blah to me.  I do enjoy where Katie and I live, but make no mistake, I'm up here for the job.  If I had it my way, we’d be headed down to Florida with the kids and living it up! Problem is...we'd be making half the income! Not gonna happen! LOL!

I am extremely proud parent of now 2 kids!  I was blessed enough to watch both Robert and Olivia born into this world and they were both amazing and memorable moments!  I definitely aspire more than anything to be the best father to them that I can be, and hopefully match or exceed the job that my father and step-father did themselves.  I'm very happy that baby Rob is ecstatic to have a baby sister and he just always wants to hold her and help out with her!  He's nothing like me when I was that age, I was a little devil child...and he just couldn’t be a sweeter kid!  Good for Olivia I suppose! LOL!

I definitely work hard, and so does Katie, but we play hard too!  We love to go out and just have a great time with each other, even when taking the kids.  We really thought this wedding matched our personalities well, being that it was in warm weather, on a resort, and with an open bar! Lol! We definitely plan to have more than likely just one more kid in the next 2-3 years, so yes...a growing family is the right phrase to describe what we've got going on! I am very blessed myself!
