Q: What is Sandals Grande St. Lucian?
A: Sandals Grande St. Lucian is a luxury, all-inclusive, adults-only resort located on a private peninsula in Saint Lucia. It’s known for its calm waters, scenic views, and wide range of amenities.

Q: What’s included in the all-inclusive package?
A:

- All meals and snacks at 12 restaurants
- Unlimited premium drinks
- Land and water sports (including scuba for certified divers)
- Golf (green fees and transfers included)
- Round-trip airport transfers
- Entertainment, WiFi, tips, and taxes
- Access to other Sandals resorts on the island (“Stay at 1, Play at 3”)
 
Q: Which airport do I fly into?
A: Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) – approximately 90–120 minutes by shuttle
George F.L. Charles Airport (SLU) – approximately 20 minutes (smaller airport)
 
Q: Are airport transfers included?
A: Yes. Round-trip transfers by air-conditioned shuttle are included. Private luxury transfers may be arranged for an additional cost.

Q: How do I manage my reservation?
A: Guests can easily manage their reservation using the Sandals App, which allows them to view their booking details, submit flight information, manage airport transfers, make dining and spa reservations, explore resort activities, and access important travel information—all in one place.

We highly recommend downloading the app before arrival for the smoothest experience.

Q: When is check-in and check-out?
A:

- Check-in: Typically 3:00 PM
- Check-out: 11:00 AM
- Guests may use resort facilities if arriving early or departing later in the day.
 
Q: How many restaurants are there?
A: 12 restaurants are offering a variety of cuisines, including Caribbean, Italian, Indian, seafood, sushi, and international fare.

Q: Are reservations required at restaurants?
A: Reservations are required at only a few specialty restaurants. We recommend booking those early in your stay.

Q: Are drinks really unlimited?
A: Yes — unlimited premium liquor, wine, beer, and cocktails are included at all bars.

 
Q: What activities are included?
A:

- Water sports: snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, sailing, waterskiing
- Land sports: beach volleyball, tennis, table tennis
- Fitness center and group classes
- Golf at Cap Estate (green fees included)
- Daily and nightly entertainment, including live music, shows, and themed nights
 
Q: Is scuba diving included?
A: Yes, for certified divers. Equipment and dives are included. Lessons for beginners are available for an additional cost.

Q: Is there a spa?
A: Yes. The Red Lane® Spa offers massages, facials, and other treatments for an additional fee.

Q: What’s the dress code?

Wedding Ceremony – Beach Formal

Our ceremony will take place on the beach. Guests are invited to wear elegant, formal attire suitable for the beach and warm weather.

- Long dresses, midi dresses, or formal cocktail dresses
- Lightweight suits, dress shirts with trousers, or dressy resort formalwear
- Linen or breathable fabrics are encouraged
- Dress sandals, wedges, flats, loafers, or dress shoes (heels are not recommended for sand)
- Ties are optional

Rehearsal Dinner – Resort Evening

A polished yet relaxed evening to gather before the big day.

- Collared shirts with lightweight trousers or linen pants
- Dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates
- Dress sandals or loafers
- No swimwear or flip-flops

Daytime Attire – Resort Casual

- Swimsuits, cover-ups, shorts, polos, sundresses, and sandals

Evening Attire – Resort Evening

- Collared shirts, dresses, jumpsuits, or chic resort wear
- Closed-toe shoes or dress sandals
- Some restaurants may not permit flip-flops or casual beachwear
 
Q: Is tipping allowed?
A: Tipping is not required or expected, except for Butler service, where it is allowed and appreciated.

Q: What currency is used in Saint Lucia?
A: The Eastern Caribbean Dollar (XCD) is the local currency, but U.S. dollars are widely accepted throughout the resort and island.

Q: What’s the electrical voltage? Do I need adapters?
A: Most rooms offer both 110V and 220V outlets. U.S. plugs usually work, though bringing a travel adapter is recommended.

Q: Is the beach private?
A: Beaches in Saint Lucia are public by law; however, the resort provides exclusive beach chairs and on-site security. Occasional local vendors may pass by.
